Another wonderful Monterey piece from the collection from Iowa. This is the darling hutch, with great hand wrought iron accents, and the Indian pulling a travois in the desert, with a cactus on the right. The iron has been painted like the hutch, the desert dust color. There is nice storage below and of course, the bookshelves above. The back of the hutch has the Monterey brand and horseshoe burned in it. The hutch was purchased new in 1948.
