Here is a mint condition tan naugahyde sofa and rocker from the 1950's cowboy era. It needs a new owner, thinks Tucson is just too warm to keep on living there!
The couch has a date of Aug. 3rd, 1960 stamped under it. It is 83" long arm to arm, 30" tall in the back, and 16" from floor to seat. It opens to make a bed, which is 42" wide by 72" L. The arms of the couch show some vintage wear. It is not bad, though, and you know how old it is! There is storage under the couch seat.
There is a tiny spot of naugahyde missing, which is covered up when it is in the sofa position. Does not need to be repaired. It is 1 " Long. Some of the wooden screw covers appear to have been replaced, and may need some shoe polish to make them fit into the coloring. The couch graphic is the saddle over the fence post, appliqued on the backside of the sofa. The backside of the sofa is covered in fabric.
The platform rocking chair is very comfortable, I features a brown horse head on the back in colorful naugahyde. The backside of this rocker has matching naugahyde.
